We're writting to You about the most successful Bulgarian football club CSKA Sofia. Today, the BFU(Bulgarian Football Union) has announced, that the Bulgarian champion won't play in the Champions League because of financial problems. Everything started last Saturday, when in a national radio station Levski Sofia's chairman Todor Batkov said that "CSKA is not worthy of playing in Europe, because of big debts". Since then, every day, in sport web-sites there are news that CSKA really have those debts, and don't have license for Europe matches and Bulgarian A Group matches, a desicion, made by UEFA. Is this true, and if it is, is reconsideration possible? Some people say that Levski Sofia have the same problems but they have a license. Is this true? And if it we can't play in Champions League because of financial problems, will teams like Real Madrid, Manchester United participate in the tournament, because they also have big debts, even more bigger than ours. Our chairman accused BFU because, in his words, they told him the last problem for the license yesterday(02.06.2008) in 13:00 and he didn't he have time to solve the problem. Vesela Lecheva, a former international sportsman and currently a president of "DAMS" asked BFU about this decision. Finally, if CSKA Sofia really don't have a license to participate in Champions League, please, let us play, because we are the most successful Bulgarian football club with big history - we've won the Bulgarian league title 31 times in our sixty-year history. We also have two semi-finals(1966/1967, 1981/1982) in ECC and one in the Cup Of National cup winners(1988/1989). I really hope you read this e-mail.
